Benz Patent Motorwagen (1886) diecast classic model, scale 1:18, produced by NOREV
On 29 January 1886, Carl Benz applied for a patent for his "vehicle with gas engine operation". Patent specification DRP 37435 is thus considered the birth certificate of the automobile. In July 1886, the newspapers report on the first public outing of the three-wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car, Type 1.
The filigree of the world's first automobile is perfectly reflected by the Norev model on a scale of 1:18. In particular, the exposed drive technology including belts, flywheels and the suspensions are reproduced in great detail.
